Fauna Rescue relies heavily on the public for donations to help our wildlife.

Donations can be made securely online using Paymate (PayPal coming) or by cheque or money order (made out to Fauna Rescue of SA Inc) and posted to Fauna Rescue of SA Inc, PO Box 241, Modbury North, SA 5092.

Aviaries & Cages Needed

• Do you live in the Adelaide area?
• Do you have any aviaries or cages that you no longer use?

Fauna Rescue is in desperate need for facilities to help rehabilitate sick, injured and orphaned wildlife. At the moment our carers resources are stretched to the limit.

Particularly in spring there are birds and possums that require aviaries as part of their rehabilitation. For example a bird cannot be released until it has been flighted in a large aviary to build up its wing muscles.

Large Aviaries

For rehabilitation of wildlife we need aviaries that measure 6ft by 4ft and larger.

We do ask that the aviaries are in reasonable condition. We are happy to do minor repairs to aviaries but unfortunately our carers are pushed to the limit caring for wildlife to be undertaking major repair work.

Fauna Rescue can arrange pick up of any donated aviaries.

We are also in need of shade cloth to line aviaries with.

Small Aviaries and Cages

We also need patio size aviaries for smaller species and cocky cages for young birds.

Sponsorship

If you do not have an old aviary to give away but would like to help, we would welcome anyone that would like to buy an aviary and donate it to Fauna Rescue.

We also appreciate company sponsorship to purchase aviaries.
