This Long Neck Tortoise was bought into Fauna Rescue by the RSPCA. She was hit by a car and sustained a nasty crack in her shell and had a bleeding wound. She was treated by a vet who fixed her shell and has put her on a course of antibiotics. She appears to be a tame tortoise so a new home has been found for her. |

This joey came into Fauna Rescue. It had been found in it's dead mothers pouch after she was hit and killed by a car. His leg was badly broken as you can see in the picture above. Unfortunately the injury was too severe for Fauna Rescue to rear the joey. This joey had to be euthanased. |
